In 2025, the level of competition across all classes of amateur motocross has seemingly been on an exponential climb. Lap times continue to shave down, technique is sharper and sharper, and the “send it” abilities of young riders are getting gnarlier by the day. The assembly of riders that have taken center stage in this progression is the women’s classes. The girls are giving the business to the guys, now, more than ever. A keystone of this group of extremely fast ladies is Indiana’s Callie Sutton. Sutton is wildly talented and has the work ethic and hunger for winning to match. With the Spring months coming to a close, she’s been ripping through area qualifiers and bringing home the hardware at every turn. The 522 was a beast at the North Central AQ. She battled some serious adversity in the form of various bike problems and a gnarly crash that left her run over on the start straight. She rose above all of it to go 1-1 in both Girls 11-16 and Women’s 12+, She complemented those wins with a 2nd overall in Supermini 2, showcasing true Grit and tenacity that simply can’t be taught. More recently, she took on The Shoals MX area qualifier. There, she continued the path of excellence. She went undefeated in both Women’s classes and found the top 10 in Supermini 2 and Mini Sr 2. With summer on the horizon, Callie Sutton will continue to plant her flag at the top of the Amateur Motocross rankings, not only amplifying the name she’s made for herself but also serving as an inspiration to all the girls out there who just want to go fast.
