Out of Effingham, Illinois, Logan Lustig is an extremely promising talent among the amateur rankings as the 2025 season continues to rear its head. It’s his first year on the 85cc machinery, and he’s taken to it like a fish to water. The number 167 has been seen cutting up tracks all across the upper Midwest, and he’s set to continue his podium campaign as summer months quickly approach. His latest arena has been the Thor Showdown series; for round 1, he found the top 3 twice after some very impressive rides in classes where the competition is fierce. Lincoln Trail Motosports is a familiar venue for Lustig, as just days earlier, he was battling with some of the best over Easter weekend for The ABE. Lusting was dominant in all three classes he took part in, finding his way to the podium every time he lined up on the gate. In 85 Open, he’d battle back from a challenging first moto to secure 5th in the overall standings. His next two classes were a different story. He excelled in 85 Jr. Limited and battled with good friend Braxton Roth to ultimately take 2nd in the overall results. To cap off an already successful weekend, Lustig rose above the competition in 85 (9-12), riding with total control and tactful strategy to bring home the championship title and golden hardware. Lustig’s natural ability aboard the KTM machine and his high level of character are sure signs that he’ll continue to excel as a young racer. As spring comes to a close, many eyes will be on the 167 as he makes his next moves.
