DAILY BREAD OLIVER KAMP
The name is Oliver Kamp, a native of Chesterfield, Missouri, who’s been busy making big moves as spring comes to a close. So far this year, the 910 has bounced back and forth from home in the Midwest to South Georgia at MTF. Under the watchful eye of the Millsaps crew, Kamp has made huge strides in his progression aboard the motorcycle. Kamp has impeccable bike control and has no problem hanging it wide at every opportunity. In recent weeks, Kamp has made the short trip up to Lincoln Trail Motorsports a few times. Once for the NC Area Qualifier, where he went 1-3-1 to take 1st in the overall standings, and later for The ABE, where he would excel above the rest. Kamp had a solid practice day, acclimating himself to the subtle changes to the track that he’s already quite familiar with. When Saturday rolled around, Oliver would not only battle his fellow competitors but the wet conditions as well. The 125 KTM machine handled beautifully through the muck and mud, and when Saturday concluded, Kamp had achieved 1stand 2nd place finishes in his first two motos. After some hard-earned rest, the sun rose on championship Sunday, and Kamp sank his teeth in. In Schoolboy 1, Kamp went back and forth with the extremely fast Benjamin Moya to ultimately take second in the overall standings. When 125 (12-17) B/C loaded into the gate, the 910 knew it was his moto to win. He rode with extreme precision across the far more favorable conditions and was first to the checkers to clinch the championship title. Oliver Kamp is absolutely one to keep an eye on as summer months approach. His effortless style and ferocious work ethic will make him the one to beat as the 2025 season shakes out.
