DAILY BREAD BENJAMIN MOYA
The 319 of Benjamin Moya is one of the most exciting athletes to watch so far in the 2025 racing season. Moya currently resides in the Motocross holy land, Cairo, Georgia, living and training full time at MTF. His work there is more than evident when you see him on the track. He’s scary fast in the corners, as railing berms wide open is a daily practice. One of the strongest parts of Moya’s game is his control. His ability to manipulate the bike in perfect harmony with the condition of the track is truly an art form. He’s also not afraid to go big, either, throwing whips that remind us of Nick Tomasunas at the Baja Brawl. Moya was able to put his high-level riding on full display at Lincoln Trail Motorsports for The ABE. Aboard the 319 Husqvarna ride, Moya excelled throughout the weekend’s revelries and further proved himself as a top contender this year. For the first motos, Moya braved the less-than-ideal conditions with style and grace. He showed great precision across the Illinois race course and established himself as a clear frontrunner with 2-2-1 first-moto results. With Championship Sunday underway, the track broke down exceptionally. Near-perfect conditions made for an excellent day of racing for Benjamin. After winning the first in 125 B/C, the 319 came out hot for moto two. he unfortunately suffered a spill but was still able to secure second in the overall standings. In Schoolboy 2, Moya applied the pressure to Wisconsin’s Riley Busse all weekend long. After some intense games of cat and mouse, Moya would again take second in the overall results. When Schoolboy 1 rolled around, Benjamin would truly shine. After taking second in the first Moto, he knew it was win or nothing. Moya put the hammer down and rode his very best to outlast Oliver Kamp and secure the Championship Title. This statement win is sure to be a big boost for Moya as spring comes to a close, leaving no doubt that we’ll be seeing much more of the 319 as the season continues.
