DAILY BREAD WADE LLOYD
Hailing from the hills of Bedford, Virginia, Wade Lloyd has been quickly making a name for himself in the 50cc amateur rankings. So far in the 2025 racing season, Wade has been a man on a mission. The 6-year-old has made wild progress in a very short amount of time. His comfort aboard the motorcycle and confidence through difficult sections mirror that of a far older rider. Wade has a bit of an advantage when it comes to training; his big brother, Boone, is one of the fastest dudes out there, and Wade gets the unique opportunity to go bar to bar with him every single day. Wade obviously picked up a few tricks from his big bro because those brotherly battles paid off dividends when the Lloyd camp rolled through the gates of Lincoln Trail Motosports in Casey, Illinois, for The ABE. Wade took to the Illinois race course like a fish to water, dominating the track despite the less-than-ideal conditions. Wade finished in the top 4 in every single one of his first motos. When the sun rose on championship Sunday, Wade stuck to his guns and went out to put on a show. Wade secured the bronze honors in 50 shaft limited. Later in 50 Pee-Wee Limited, Lloyd was first to the checkers to finish 1-1 and take the championship title after an excellent showing of skill and raw talent. The 731 complemented that ride with yet another championship win despite stout competition in 50 Jr Limited. Wade Lloyd has all the pieces in place for a great amateur career; his focus, natural ability, and passion for the sport are everything you want in a young rider. We’re on pins and needles to see what the 731 will accomplish in the near future.
