4 time Loretta Lynn’s National Champion, Jaydin Smart, has continued to dominate in his campaign to greatness in 2025. The number 4 is an integral component of the impressive Altus Motorsports Blu Cru Yamaha Racing Team. So far into this year’s racing season, Jaydin has been collecting number 1 plates like they’re baseball cards. That narrative remained true when Smart and Co. rolled through the front gates of Oak Hill Raceway for the 2025 running of Spring A Ding Ding. Smart and his YZ85 steed worked in unified harmony throughout the motocross circuit. Jaydin kicked things off in the 85 9-11 LTD class in the only fashion he knows with perfect 1-1 moto scores to firmly grasp the overall championship. Smart would later face some of the fastest 85cc riders in the country in the 85 open division, where his expertise and tenacity showed in full force. Smart would battle all the way to the checkers despite adversity to secure a hard-earned podium appearance. When it became time for the gate to drop in the 85 9-12 MOD division, Smart knew he would have to give his all to lock down a championship. After a dramatic first moto, Smart would find himself in a gladiatorial engagement with the 18 of Sawyer Gieck, who would continue to give him the business throughout the second moto. Ultimately, Jaydin reigned supreme and took the moto win to guarantee the division title and the gold hardware. Since the Ding, Smart hasn’t let off the gas. At the California Classic at Fox Raceway, Smart continued to put on pro-esque performances, winning the 85cc 9-11 division and taking second in two others. It’s hard to find a young rider with more talent and hunger to win than Jaydin Smart. We’re sure that the number 4 is coming soon to a podium near you.
