Originally hailing from West Haven, Utah, Tayce Morgan now calls Clermont, Florida home. The 13-year-old rider experienced one of the most action-packed seasons that any pilot could have. The honors started at the ranch where, after battles in the notoriously fast 85cc classes, Morgan would bring home the silver and bronze results in the 85 (10-12) and 85 (10-12) limited classes, respectively. It was there in Hurricane Mills where Morgan would also be named the 2024 Blu Cru Youth Rider of the Year. Not long after, Tayce and company would find their way across the Atlantic to England, where he would compete in the YZ Super Finale at MX of Nations. Europe was good to Morgan as he found the top of the podium in the 85cc division and stowed away a memory that won’t soon be forgotten. With 2025 underway, Tayce’s preparation at The Dogpound is already paying off. At Spring A Ding Ding, Morgan floated through the Motocross portion with a loose and confident gusto. His ability to analyze and implement fast lines was on full display and rewarded him with a 2nd overall finish in Mini Sr 1, a 3rd overall in Mini Sr 2, and a top 10 in the ultra-competitive Supermini 2 class. Tayce is on a steady trajectory to continue his rise this season. We sat down with the 810 to get the scoop on Tayce Morgan.

Best road trip story.

My favorite road trips would have to be driving around Finland and England checking out all the sites.

Worst road trip story.

Traveling from Utah to Florida and we got stuck in an ice storm in Texas, all the hotels were full and we had to sleep in the van. It was miserable.

What do you love about being at the track besides racing your bike?

Hanging out with my friends.

What are you looking forward to getting out of this sport?

Teaching me how to work hard.

Give some props to everyone helping you out.

I have a lot of great people in my corner, I’d like to thank everyone at Yamaha, Altus, Bell, Moose, 100%, Alpinestar, Dunlop, Monster Army, Wyn and Kim Kern, IEI, Dennett Construction, Let’s Ride Co (Kirk Taylor) my brother J-Motor, and everyone out to the Dogpound.

What are your superstitions, weird habits, or routines?

I used to believe I had a lucky helmet when I was younger, but I don’t think that anymore.

Do you have any hidden talents or weird skills?

I can eat a lot of food, but am still super small lol.
