DAILY BREAD MAYLA HERRICK
Colorado’s Mayla Herrick is positioned perfectly for a continued rise in the amateur ranks for the fast-approaching 2025 racing season. The 2023 national champ is incredibly fast off the start gate and has the innate ability to dominate rhythm sections with grace and finesse. She is no stranger to leading the pack in competitive classes; she’s been battling with the best of them from a very young age. Mayla’s immense talent on her dirt bike has resulted in many impressive additions to her squadron of supporters, including a freshly inked deal with Team Dunlop Elite, Monster Army, and many more. At the start of the new year, Herrick traded red for orange and climbed aboard the Sun Powersports-backed KTM 250. The 1-9 is situated full-time at the Reynard Training Complex, working on her craft with a top-secret training program and gearing up for Spring Nationals that lie just around the corner. When she’s not on track, Mayla keeps things in check through various cardio and gym routines, as well as having some fun on the mountain bike. The sky is the limit for Mayla Herrick in 2025. We were able to sit down with Mayla in between trips to the West Coast to talk superstitions, SX predictions, and more.
