Levi Kitchen would rise to the occasion while stationed in Arizona, knowing that series contender Cameron McAdoo was now out for the season; and believing he could continue his rise into constant podium contention, via the Triple Crown format in Glendale. Kitchen would “bring the heat” throughout qualification, showcasing an array of stellar skills while speeding to the timing and scoring sensors with undeniable talent. His attitude and belief would be paramount as gate(s) fell, where he immediately stalked the rear wheel of Jett Lawrence until passing the green flag; where an unusual “check-up” (on behalf the number eighteen) would allow Levi to pass by and into the lead! Though being overtaken not long thereafter, all action would cease as an unfortunate red-flag was thrown. The field would be forced to restart from the grid, but Kitchen was unbothered by what had occurred and seemed to blister out of the gate(s) once more to take an initial lead! He would maintain the alpha role until roughly six and a half minutes remained on the clock, when Lawrence would explode to the outside of the whoops and make his way past the Yamaha rider. Levi’s continued to do his best though, and maintained second for a significant amount of time prior to being overtaken by RJ Hampshire in the laps that followed...finalized in third, it was Kitchen who was aiming for an even higher standing in the mains that followed. His start to the second endeavor would categorize him in the runner-up position, where he would do his best to mimic the moves of RJ Hampshire ahead of him. However the Husqvarna athlete was a bit too fast for him to surpass, leaving him second through the halfway point all the while keeping Jett Lawrence at bay. It was an unusual sequence, undoubtedly; however Kitchen remained composed when under fire from one of the greats in the sport....and would reside second throughout the entirety of the eleven lap contest, to be finalized in a silver medal registry prior to beginning the third portion of action! The number forty-three would again burst from the line with a stockpile of ammunition, eagerly grabbing the lead while welcoming all members of opposing forces to attempt to rival him. And the Yamaha looked spectacular while doing so, leading through lap two, prior to encountering Honda’s Jett Lawrence as the third circuit began. Both riders were then side by side when speeding through the left side of the split lane rhythm section, where an unfortunate mistake would cost Kitchen dearly — and send the red plate holder by, once and for all prior to entering into the next turn. However Kitchen was anything but defeated, and proceeded to accelerate as hard as possible throughout the rest of the eleven-lap contest; which equated to a phenomenal second place (for the moto) being earned, to grasp third in the final standings!
