WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS FOR 2022?

My biggest goals for 2022 are to win Loretta's and Mini O's on the 50. I really want to get qualified for Loretta's on the 65 as well and keep improving to battle for a top 10 by Mini O's.

WHEN DID YOU START RIDING?

I started riding when I was three years old on a P-Dub. We still have that bike in the garage and I plan to keep it forever.

WHO’S YOUR FAVORITE PRO RIDER AND WHY?

My favorite pro rider is probably Jett Lawrence. I got to spend some time with him recently as part of a project for Ethika and he was super cool to me. His style on the bike is so smooth! I like how he can make a mistake and never gives up and attacks to put down faster lap times.

OVERALL HOW WERE THE SPRING NATIONALS FOR YOU? WE SEEN A LOT OF SPEED AND GREAT BATTLES BETWEEN YOU AND JAYDIN SMART AT THE DING, HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT YOUR PERFORMANCE?

Spring nationals were good. We had some unfortunate things happen at Daytona between going down in our heat race, and then having them throw the checkered flag wrong. It was a big mess! I ended up coming back to fourth at Daytona, but finished on the podium in all of the 50 classes at JS7 and The Ding. Jaydin is a beast! I've had to chase him for a couple of years now and it has really helped to push my limits. Battling with him at Spring A Ding Ding was a lot of fun even though he got the better of me. I think I gained a lot of confidence on the 65 throughout spring nationals and feel like I belong closer to the front of the pack moving forward.

WHAT DOES IT FEEL LIKE TO BE APART OF THE DUNLOP ELITE BEING ONE OF THE YOUNGEST ON THE TEAM?

Team Dunlop Elite has been one of my goals for a while. Being selected to join the team as the youngest is a huge honor! Big thanks to Rob Fox for giving me this opportunity and I hope to continue the history of Dunlop champions before me!

HOW HAS THE JUMP TO THE 65CC BEEN FOR YOU AND DO YOU FEEL PREPARED TO BATTLE AT THE REGIONAL FOR A SPOT AT LORETTA’S ON THAT NEW BIGGER BIKE?

I first got on the 65 right after Mini O's, so probably like the middle of December. Learning the clutch and shifter actually came pretty easy, but putting it all together at speed on the track has taken a little bit. We made a goal to be better on the bike each time out on the track. I feel like my speed is there now to compete near the front, but this class is stacked. We're just finishing up area qualifiers now and look forward to doing battle at regionals. It would mean a lot to make it to Loretta's on the 65 for sure!

WHO IS YOUR FAVOURITE FRIEND TO RIDE WITH AND WHY?

My dude Anderson Waldele and I have been battling since the P-Dub days. It seemed like we used to always find each other on the track! I think we have definitely pushed each other to get faster. He actually joined Orange Brigade about the same time I joined Cobra Elite which is pretty cool!

HOW MUCH FUN IS IT TO BE APART OF THE COBRA ELITE AND WHAT IS IT LIKE TO BE ON THE TEAM?

Being on Team Cobra Elite is awesome! The entire crew at the factory works so hard to keep making the motorcycles better. Bret, Phil, Tyson, Sean - the whole team is so supportive of our program. And my teammates Colt, Jaydin, Kannon, and Gavin (with an "I") are all cool kids to hang out with at the track! It's fun to do the special photo shoots too!

CORNERS OR JUMPS? AND WHY?

I know that most races are won in the corners, so I've been working really hard on my speed there. The jumps are definitely fun though! Big jumps give me time to breath and relax, and throw big whips!

HOW MUCH TIME DO YOU SPEND TRAINING ON A NORMAL WEEK?

I have never done formal training. We try to get out and ride 1-2 times each week and race on as many weekends as possible.

WHAT’RE YOUR GO-TO MEALS TO COOK AT HOME?

Tacos, definitely tacos! And mom's special cheese burgers, mom's steak marinade, or lasagna with breadsticks.

WHO WOULD YOU LIKE TO THANK AND WHO HAS HELPED YOU GET TO WHERE YOU ARE AT?

My mom and dad for sure for working so hard to keep me chasing my dream. My papa Wayne, my papa Vince - the entire family is so supportive and it means a lot. Cobra Moto. Brandon at B's Moto Lab. Rob Fox at Dunlop. Christina at Roost. ProTaper, Spectro, MotoSeat. Kirk at Fire Power. Dan at T-Rex Throttles. VP Racing Fuels. Bell Helmets. John at SCOTT. Roger Larsen over at Seven. Asterisk, Alpinestars, Kyle at Ethika, Ryno Power, and Skullcandy. I've got so many people helping us out. THANK YOU!
