Brock Walker has been a mainstay at the front of the pack in the 125cc and Schoolboy 1 (12-17) B/C classes this year, coming out of the gate strong at Spring A Ding Ding back in March. The teenager from Texas showed some impressive speed as he claimed multiple top-five finishes and came away with 2nd place in one of his motos, putting together a relatively consistent weekend. Walker grabbed 6th place in the 125cc class and 4th in the Schoolboy 1 category, commencing the 2020 Dirty 100 season with a solid performance that he was able to build off of throughout the year. At the Loretta Lynn Amateur National Motocross Championship, the KTM rider found some success against the best competition that the country has to offer. He put together 11-9-11 moto finishes for 9th place overall, keeping himself inside of the top ten in the Schoolboy 1 class while his best moto finish came in the third 125cc race, earning a 6th place result. Walker showed up at the Baja Brawl just a couple of weeks ago fired up and ready to race which was more than evident in his results. The Texan finished all six motos inside of the top five and even managed a moto win at the beginning of the weekend, ultimately coming away with 2nd place overall in the Schoolboy 1 class and 3rd in the 125cc class. As a result, Walker has moved his way up into a podium position in the 125cc Dirty 100 category while sitting in a dead tie for 2nd position in the Schoolboy 1 division. Gage Stine is 14 points ahead in 1st place, but he committed full-time to the B class so he won’t earn any points at Ponca. Consequently, the title is up for grabs and it’s going to be a showdown at The Motoplayground Race at Ponca City as Walker goes toe to toe with Myles Gilmore to determine the Schoolboy 1 Dirty 100 Champion.
