Broc Peterson embarked on the short journey from Delta, Ohio up to the sands of Baja Acres for the annual Brawl, choosing to compete in the Vet (30+), Junior (25+), and 2-Stroke Open classes. The majority of his success came in the Junior (25+) and Vet (30+) classes, finishing on the podium in five out of six motos that he raced. Peterson grabbed two 3rd place finishes in the first two motos of the (25+) class, putting him in a likely position for an overall podium result heading into the third and final moto. The Ohioanrode a calm and collected race with the overall result in mind, grabbing 4th place in the moto which earned him a subsequent 3rd place in the overall ranking. In the Vet (30+) class, the Honda rider proved to be the man to beat as he was one of the very few riders that completed a 1-1-1 sweep over the course of Labor Day Weekend at the Brawl. Peterson led nearly every single lap that he contested throughout the three moto format, achieving the fastest lap of the race on two out of three occasions. He managed to turn lap times that were nearly five seconds per lap faster than his opponents, amounting a pretty comfortable cushion ahead of 2nd position in all three motos on his way to a dominant championship performance.
