After an impressive podium finish in the 51cc (7-8) Limited class at the Loretta Lynn Amateur National Motocross Championship, Brayton Kreglow was eager to keep up the same momentum at the 2020 Baja Brawl. The Floridian entered both the 51cc (4-8) Open Limited an 51cc (7-8) Limited classes while also competing in both of the 65cc (7-9) divisions, continuing to gain valuable experience on the slightly bigger bike. Kreglow had some strong performances in the 65cc categories, finishing three out of the six motos inside of the top five with a podium finish to boot. In the 51cc categories, the rider out of Moto X Compound was consistently one of the fastest riders on the track, winning a total of two motos with an additional three podium finishes. Kreglow was set for an overall podium finish and potentially a title in the 51cc (7-8) Limited class, but an uncharacteristic 16th place result in the first moto put him in 6th place overall despite the 1st and 2nd place finishes in moto two. Nonetheless, the Cobra rider showed consistent progression in the 51cc (4-8) Open Limited class, putting together 3-2-1 moto scores on his way to the number one plate. Kreglow claimed 3rd place in his Heat after losing the lead on lap one and dropping back to 6th place at one point, but he rebounded in the second moto. The Floridian set the pace as he recorded the fastest lap time of the race and came away with 2nd place at the checkered flag, putting him right in the thick of the championship contentio for the third moto. Following the gate drop, Kreglow settled into 2nd position and immediately claimed the lead, achieving the fastest lap of the race honors for the second consecutive moto as he secured the title with a moto victory.
