NATHAN GROSS - 250 C JR (12-17) LIMITED

Nathan Gross made the short journey to the 2020 Baja Brawl from Clio, Michigan to compete in the 250 C, 250 C Jr. (12-17) Limited, and 250 C Limited classes over Labor Day Weekend. The Michiganian had plenty of strong performances throughout the many races that he contested, finishing five out of eight motos on the podium. Gross wasn’t able to match those same results in the 250 C Limited class, but he was consistently at the front of the pack in the 250 C and 250 C Jr. (12-17) Limited classes, finishing no worse than 5th. In the 250 C class, Gross was able to come out on top in the first Heat as he recorded the fastest lap of the race, setting lap times multiple seconds per lap faster than his competitors. In the second and third motos, the KTM rider ran near the sharp end of the field as he set a searing pace in both motos, finishing in 2nd position on both occasions. After a 2nd place overall finish, Gross was primed for a title in the 250 C Jr. (12-17) Limited class and that’s exactly what he got. His consistent and solid performances across the three moto format ultimately made the difference in getting him a number one plate, piecing together 2-2-5 moto scores on his way to the title.
