Donald Leddy was one of the many Michigan locals to make the trip out to the 2020 Baja Brawl for Labor Day Weekend, entering both the Senior (40+) and Vet (35+) classes. The rider out of Saginaw did well in all six motos that he contested from Saturday to Monday, finishing inside of the top five every single time he hit the track. In the Vet (35+) division, Leddy put together 5-3-4 moto scores for 4th place overall, just narrowly missing out on the podium. Nonetheless, the Yamaha rider was able to get the job done in the Senior (40+) class as he won two out of three motos, coming on strong towards the end of the weekend in order to seal the title. Despite setting the fastest lap in the first moto, the rider out of Michigan was only able to secure 2nd place in the race.Regardless, he bounced back in moto two after starting out front and held on for the win and he repeated the same feat in the third and final moto. Leddy started in 2nd position and quickly progressed into the lead, beating the competition to the checkered flag in a quick three-lap sprint to the finish line as he got his hands on the Senior (40+)number one plate.
