CHRIS CANNING - 450 A, JUNIOR 25+, OPEN PRO

Chris Canning made the trip all the way from Connecticut one weekend after sweeping the 450 A class at the Racer X Maine Event, bringing some serious momentum to the Baja Brawl in Michigan. The seasoned professional entered to compete in the 450 A, Junior 25+, and Open Pro Sport classes aboard his KX450F and he laid down dominant performances all weekend long. Canning was arguably one of the most impressive riders in attendance at the Brawl in 2020, remaining undefeated throughout the eight motos that he raced from Saturday to Monday. The Kawasaki rider had the fastest lap in every single race that he entered except for one, consistently setting the pace from the gate drop to the checkered flag. The Connecticut native’s sand riding skills have been well documented throughout recent years as he’s consistently showed up at Southwick throughout recent years and qualified inside of the top ten. Considering the Pro National was canceled at Southwick this year due to the pandemic, Canning was able to demonstrate his supreme sand riding technique on the motocross beaches of Baja Acres. The Kawasaki rider was able to complete a successful Labor Day Weekend with a slew of moto victories and a trio of number one plates, including a pretty solid payday to take back to the east coast.
