DILAN SCHWARTZ | LORETTA LYNN 2016

Dilan Schwartz was competing in the Mini Sr. 1 and Mini Sr. 2 classes at the 2016 Loretta Lynn Amateur National Motocross Championship riding aboard a KTM. The Californian had an up and down year as he struggled in the Mini Sr. 2 class but ended up winning the title in the Mini Sr. 1 division. Schwartz started things off on the right foot with a 2nd place finish in the Mini Sr. 2 class, but 16th place in the second moto and 37th place in the final moto had a lasting effect on his overall score. Regardless, he stayed focused and consistent in the Mini Sr. 1 class as he put together 1-2-2- moto finishes in order to take the title which was the first and only Loretta Lynn’s Championship of his career to this point. Since that season, Schwartz has been successful at the Ranch by finishing on the overall podium in four out of six attempts.
