DAXTON BENNICK | LORETTA LYNN 2016

Not many riders can win a title at Loretta Lynn’s in only their second time competing on the hallowed ground, but that’s exactly what Daxton Bennick managed to do back in 2013. The North Carolina native kept his form up over the next few years, making him one of the favorites in the 65cc (7-9) age group at the Loretta Lynn Amateur National Motocross Championship in 2016. Bennick also competed in the 65cc (7-11) class against - which was eventually won by Matthew LeBlanc - and managed a 3rd place result in the second moto, but the majority of his focus was on challenging for the title in the 65cc (7-9) Limited class. The Orange Brigade rider bounced back from 4th place in moto one and took the victory in the second and third moto in order to clinch the number one plate ahead of Moon Gerrits and Cole Kish, serving as his second title at the Ranch up to that point.
