MAXIMUS VOHLAND | LORETTA LYNN 2016
The 2016 Loretta Lynn Amateur Motocross National turned out to be one of Max Vohland’s most forgettable years at the Ranch. Although he recorded multiple podium finishes throughout the six motos that week, his overall results were hindered by a couple of uncharacteristic finishes that came from bike problems and unfortunate luck. Vohland finished 3rd in the final 85cc (9-12) moto, which was won by Jett Reynolds, but a DNF in moto two put him down in 17th place overall. In the Mini Sr. 1 class, which was won by Dilan Schwartz, Vohland ended up 11th overall with 2-3-33 moto scores. The Californian is now competing in the 125cc classes after sweeping Loretta Lynn’s in both Supermini classes in 2019.
