CADEN BRASWELL | LORETTA LYNN 2016
At the 2016 Loretta Lynn Amateur National Championship, Caden Braswell was contesting both the 85cc (9-11) Limited and 85cc (9-12) classes aboard a Yamaha - the only year in his amateur career that he’s represented the bLU cRU. The Floridian demonstrated the speed to run up front all week as he regularly does at the Ranch, narrowly missing out on the top five in the 85cc (9-12) class with a 6th place overall finish. In the younger of the two 85cc divisions, Braswell laid the hammer down in the third and final moto and proved his potential by taking the victory, catapulting him to 2nd place overall in combination with 6-5 moto finishes in the first two races. Jett Reynolds took the number one plate in both classes with Crockett Myers, Chance Hymas, and Nick Romano also finding a spot on the overall podium.
