At Loretta Lynn’s Ranch in 2016, Matthew LeBlanc was one of the most impressive riders in attendance that particular week. The Louisiana native was representing the Orange Brigade KTM outfit at the time, splitting his focus on the track between the 65cc (7-11) and the 85cc (9-11) Limited classes. LeBlanc won the second moto in the 85cc class and finished 4th in the third and final moto, but an issue in the first moto cost him the prospect of a strong overall finish. Nonetheless, he more than made up for it in the 65cc class as he defended his number one plate from the previous year and made it back-to-back championships.
