Back at the Loretta Lynn National Championship in 2016, Crockett Myers was representing the RM Army in both the 85cc (9-12) and Mini Sr. 1 classes. The Texan struggled in Mini Sr. 1 with a 12th overall finish, which was won by Dilan Schwartz, but it was the exact opposite in the 85cc (9-12) class against slightly younger competition. Myers finished 2nd on the overall podium behind Jett Reynolds after achieving 3-1-5 moto scores throughout the week.
