Before Chance Hymas signed with Team Green Kawasaki, the Idaho native rode a KTM for quite a few years of his amateur career. One of the performances that surely caught the eye of the widely respected amateur motocross program was at Loretta Lynn’s in 2016 when Hymas was competing in the 85cc (9-11) Limited and 85cc (9-12) classes. He finished all of his motos inside the top ten in both classes and earned 6th place overall in the (9-11) Limited class, finishing 5th in two separate motos. Surprisingly, he performed better in the older division as Hymas snagged 3rd place on the overall podium by way of 4-2-4 moto scores.
