Reyes Jr. was one of the standout riders at The Motoplayground Race at Ponca City back in 2016, doing damage in both of the Mini Sr. 1 and Mini Sr. 2 classes as well as the Supermini 1 and 85cc (9-13) Open divisions. The Texan finished in 5th place in Supermini 1 which was won by Ty Masterpool and he finished 3rd place overall in Mini Sr. 2 behind Kaeden Amerine and Branden Walther. Reyes Jr. took the number one plate in the 85cc (9-13) Open class ahead of Chance Hymas and Lane Allison and he also earned the top spot in the Mini Sr. 1 class ahead of Amerine and Chandler Baker.
