Janik entered to race both the 65cc (7-9) classes at The Motoplayground Race at Ponca City back in 2016 as well as the 85cc (9-11) Limited class. Janik snuck inside the top ten overall in the 85cc class with a 9th place finish while the overall victory went to none other than Ryder DiFrancesco. In the 65cc (7-9) classes, Janik grabbed 3rd in the stock class behind Casey Cochran and Jordan Renfro and he finished 2nd overall in the mod division behind Renfro with Cochran in 3rd position.
