Bennick competed in the 65cc (7-11) and 65cc (7-9) classes at the 2016 Daytona RCSX, representing the Orange Brigade KTM outfit as he does now. The North Carolina native earned 7th place in the (7-11) Main Event which was won by his teammate at the time, Matthew Leblanc, while he excelled in the (7-9) class with a 2nd place result behind Aidan Dickens.
