CALEB JACKSON

What’s your name and where are you from?

Caleb Jackson from Colfax, Iowa.

What classes do you race?

I race 85cc (9-15) C and 85cc (9-11) Limited.

How did you get into motorcycles?

I got into dirtbikes when I was just a baby because my older brother and Mom and Dad all rode and raced!

Tell us about your first race.

My first race was a hare scramble in New Hartford, IA. I rang my PW50 out in the mud and got 3rd place in the 50cc class.

What other sports do you like?

Another sport I like to do is scootering and spend a lot of time at the skate park!

Describe a typical day at the track for you.

A typical day at the track is getting there, unloading and getting dressed. Always gotta check air pressure and gas and then time to rip until we’re out of gas or practice sessions are over. I like to spend every minute on the track I can! I like having my brother there so we can watch each other and talk about line choices and what to work on.

Favorite meal to have before you race?

A meal I like to have before a race is nothing cause I have a weird stomach where eating before a race makes me feel sick and I can't race to my full potential. I instead get plenty of food the night before and just have nutrient-dense shakes during the day.

Best moment on a motocross bike?

The best moment on a dirt bike is when you hit a corner perfectly! It makes me smile more than anything else!

Best road trip story.

My best road trip was when we were headed to St Louis, MO to race SX Futures! It was so much fun racing the same track as the pros!

What’s your favorite track to ride?

My favorite track is Circuit 180 MX in Douds, IA.

Who is your favorite professional racer and why?

My favorite racer is Jett Lawerence because he rips and has a super cool personality.

Who would you like to thank for helping you out?

I would like to thank DPMX Tracks & Training, my brother, my parents, my stepdad Brad who does all of our bike work, Dunlop, Acerbis, and everyone else that helps me.
